Denmark Technical College Student Training

Denmark Technical College is committed to providing students with the resources to help them grow professionally and personally. To further that vision, Denmark Tech has partnered with Ancora Corporate Training to offer students a variety of skills-focused courses.

Ancora Corporate Training provides hands-on, instructor-led, and online training across the United States. We offer public and customized training for groups and individuals either at your site, our facilities, or online.

CDL Training Course

Our CDL Training: Class A Truck Driver program provides the optimal balance between classroom learning and on-the-road training to better prepare students for the CDL exam. Class sizes are small and our experienced instructors can give you insight into what it’s like to be a truck driver. All curriculum and instruction adheres to the new ELDT rules, and Ancora is listed on the official FMCSA Training Provider Registry.

Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS)

The Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS) is trained in the knowledge of wireless sales, marketing, entry-level support, and decision-making professionals related to 802.11 wireless networks.

Certified Wireless Technician (CWT)

The Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) is an individual who can install access points (APs) based on a design document, configure the AP for initial operations, and ensure connectivity. People who successfully complete this course can troubleshoot basic problems and provide wireless tech support to users in-person or through remote communications.

IT Support

Students in the IT Support Specialist program will receive in-depth training in the daily maintenance, support, and performance of computer systems. They will also gain the skills needed for: effective communication; record-keeping of help desk ticketing; training techniques in the proper use of hardware and software as well as the installation and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment.

Medical Billing and Coding

The Medical Billing and Coding program prepares students to work as entry-level medical billing specialists. Students receive training in standard medical procedure coding, insurance, reimbursements, healthcare standards, as well as information storage and retrieval systems. Individuals who successfully complete the program may seek entry-level employment in physician’s offices, clinics, laboratories, hospitals, group practices, specialty practices, health insurance offices, and nursing homes. The program helps prepare students to sit for a certification examination.

Medical Clinical Assisting

The Medical Clinical Assistant program provides training for an entry-­level career as an important member of the healthcare team. The program emphasizes hands-­on experience in both front -office administrative and back­-office clinical skills and develops traits employers seek such as the ability to assume responsibility, make decisions, and work independently. Medical Clinical Assistant students receive training in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains. Individuals who successfully complete this program may pursue career opportunities in the growing healthcare industry in doctors’ offices, medical clinics, and other medical facilities as clinical medical assistants, administrative medical assistants, and medical office managers where they work under the supervision and direction of a physician or licensed healthcare practitioner.

Pharmacy Technician

Individuals who successfully complete this program are prepared to work in pharmacy environments such as an HMO pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and retail pharmacies like those found in drug stores and supermarkets. This program provides students with the theory and hands‐on experience needed to obtain employment as a pharmacy technician. Students will learn how to accurately process the information on a new prescription and be able to request any missing information, list brand and generic drug names, dosage forms(s), and route of administration for at least the top 100 drugs, and process a medication order for multiple hospitals.
